Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Embedded Systems Programmer with expertise in Arduino (C/C++) and/or MicroPython to join our product development team. You will play a key role in designing and implementing firmware for educational robotics, IoT devices, and AI-integrated learning tools aimed at promoting STEM education and community problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain firmware for Arduino and MicroPython-based devices.
- Collaborate with product designers and educators to create interactive learning kits.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa).
- Optimize code for performance, reliability, and low power consumption.
- Support prototyping and testing of hardware components.
Must Have
- Proficiency in C/C++ for Arduino and/or MicroPython for microcontrollers (ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico, etc.). Passion for software products
- Experience with sensor integration, motor control, and wireless communication protocols.
- Familiarity with IoT platforms (e.g., MQTT, Blynk, Firebase, Node-RED).
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and integration with edge devices.
Nice to have
- Experience with STEM education tools or EdTech products.
- Knowledge of 3D printing, CAD, or electronics prototyping.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Prior experience in startup or social impact environments.
